was contracted by Microsoft WebTV to design a new music service for their
WebTV platform. This music service would provide users a simple and engaging
interface to create and grow an MP3 collection. The solution would integrate
a music player, playlist library organization, and a store. It would also
incorporate a unique alternative to the traditional shopping cart paradigm.
My role on this project was lead visual and interaction designer. We provided
design analysis, functional specifications, flash prototypes and visual
style guides. I designed the look and feel of the interface and managed
the creation of Flash prototypes. The program never made it into final production
due to staff changes at WebTV.
