This project
was a partnership between MONKEYmedia and marchFIRST. Our job involved brainstorming
for the sega.com global gaming portal and the Sega Dreamcast unit with integrated
modem, virtual memory unit and 4-player built-in capabilities. Most of our
discussions focused on the potential for Dreamcasts standard-setting
graphics capabilities to intersect community in avatar-enabled persistent-world
spaces. Ideas for networked game play as well as integrating a new game
into the use of the web site itself were presented at E3 in 2000.
