Lucky's Math
Arcade was a series of math-based learning games for 4th-grade kids. This
was part of Creative Wonders' School House Rock series. The games were presented
by comic character Lucky Seven Sampson in an arcade environment to encourage
kids to challenge their math and thinking skills. While I was working for
Basis Applied Technology in Gibsons, British Columbia, I provided Director
Lingo support and troubleshooting on this series of games. I was also responsible
for editing the introductory sequences and game selection screen for the
CD ROM.![]() |
![]() Request Demo - Lucky's Water Balloons This game was designed to help kids practice their multiplication skills while launching wonderfully harmless water-filled balloons. Directions: Chuck a balloon at the duck whose number matches the problem at the top of the page. At first it's an easy less than or greater than problem. Tug gently on an oversized rubber band and launch your ammo at the right ducks. When all the ducks are drenched, waddle on up to level two where players are told to pelt the odd or even ducks. Then go quacky trying to figure out which ducks are multiples of 9, 17, and 14 in level three as numbers float by. |
